It's been a long time but hopefully I'm back to stay. I think I've figured out that no matter what's happening around me I need to, if at all possible, make some time to craft. Crafting is my way of relaxing, unwinding, destressing (is that a word?) and in the end I'm a better person for having crafted. This weekend I worked on covering composition books for my girls. They are totally different but fit their ages, 8 & 12, and personalities. Kayla needed hers for school and Ali wanted her, "My Friend Book", just to draw and write in.
Ali's is covered using DCWV Doodlin' Around Stack. She chose her own title and loves all the sparkle that came on the paper. Also, all the extra sparkle and bling that we added - after all a girl can never have too much bling.
This "jeans & t'shirt" gal loves the denim! Both books turned out really cute.
ReplyDeleteThe girl's books turned out fabulous!!! You haven't lost your touch. It's so good to see you crating and blogging again. :) I've missed you.
ReplyDeleteI know how to remove your unwanted pictures. I didn't get your phone message until after midnight the day you called. Mark was off all day today. Call me tomorrow if you have time to work on your blog, okay?
Love u, sis. xxx
Wow, these look really great and the sparkle and bling give the "added" touch! I love that the pictures are on there too.
